Windham Academy is looking for dynamic parents to participate and possibly chair on several of it’s volunteer committees. These committees include Communications, Fundraising, PTO and Facilities.
Our Communications Committee is chaired by Christie Bellany Cartwright, of Infinite Marking. This committee is tasked with managing our Social Media, Website, Email Promotions, and Area Press Releases. Three seats remain open on this committee.
Our Fundraising Committee is being “temporarily” chaired by Trustee Walter Cartwright. This committee is tasked with developing and implementing successful fundraising efforts - raising monies for the school’s general funds. A new Fundraising chair will be interviewed and selected from interested committee members, after a minimum of 30 days on the committee. 4 seats remain open on this committee.
Our Parent Teacher Organization is being “temporarily” chaired by Trustee Meg Bedrick. This committee is tasked with supporting the overall parent teacher relationship, raising funds for specific teacher and student initiatives. A new PTO chair will be interviewed and selected from interested committee members, after a minimum of 30 days on the committee. 4 seats remain open on this committee.
The Windham Academy is a new tuition free K-4 STEM Prep School located at 1 Industrial Drive in Windham. Enrollment is expected at over 180 students this upcoming fall. If you’re interested in being a part of one of these committees, please contact us at WindhamAcademy.org.
