Karen Bulkley I have been at Windham Academy from the beginning. Every day I look forward to working with our team of amazing administrators, teachers, and mentors. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture and beginning my career working in several architectural firms, I stepped away to raise my son and daughter. As part of this new phase, I regularly volunteered in my children’s classes and schools and valued being a part of their education. During this time I also frequently served as a substitute teaching assistant at the Windham Cooperative Preschool, including a period of time as a full-time substitute. Outside of school, you may find my family and me up on Lake Winnipesaukee, at gymnastics and robotics meets for our children, and enjoying time with my family and friends.

New Charter School makes its home on Industrial Drive in Windham NH Windham Academy is ready to announce its official location at One Industrial Drive in Windham, NH. “We’ve been so fortunate to find the perfect home for our school right here in Windham. The location was simply meant to be, with plenty of space both inside and out for learning, playing and growing”, explains School Director Mindy Labo. “With our team’s hard work and perseverance, challenges turn in to success, and that’s how the board felt about this location. Everything happens for a reason and securing this location was the right decision, for our community and for our children.” Commented Jim Fricchione, who currently sits on the board of directors for the school. One Industrial Drive was approved by the Windham ZBA earlier in the year to be used as an educational setting for Windham Academy. The school is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a 25,000 SF building which is perfectly suited for the STEM-based public school. It’s convenient to commuting traffic. The site offers plenty of outdoor areas which will include playground and learning spaces, as well as future facilities expansions as the school grows. Windham Academy will be a fitting addition to the Industrial Drive neighborhood, which is currently utilized by schools, medical facilities, and professional offices. Windham Academy is a public STEM based charter school serving grades K-3 in 2018-2019, with plans to add a grade in each future year through 8th Grade. Applications for admission can be made online at windhamacademy.net or questions can be directed to the school at windhamacademycharter@gmail.com
