Lyndsey England “Promise me you'll always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” This is one of my favorite quotes and mantras by author A.A. Milne in Winnie-the-Pooh. It is a reminder to myself and my students to continuously challenge yourself, keep an open mind, and strive to learn something new every day. My goal is to help foster my students’ natural curiosity of the world around them and encourage them to always stay learning. The guiding principles of my classroom are teamwork, creativity, inclusivity and respect. It is important that my students know mistakes are always welcome as part of the learning process, and there is not only one way to find a solution or answer to a problem. Through inquiry and project-based learning, students will practice collaborating with each other as part of a team. I look forward to working with my students to create a collaborative, inclusive, kind and supportive classroom environment. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Management from the University of New Hampshire. Since then, I found my passion and path in educating our youth. I have always had a love of teaching before I realized it was my true calling. I have worked as a caregiver, a K-5 Special Ed. Paraprofessional in Derry, and most recently, as a family nanny for a two-year-old. I have also taken professional education courses at New Hampshire Technical Institute- NHTI and observed educators at an elementary school in Amherst, NH as part of my courses. I grew up in Londonderry, NH and currently live in Manchester, NH. I like to paint, read, and spend summers with my family at Newfound Lake. I am excited to meet my students and families this upcoming year, and to be a part of such a wonderful community of students, families, leaders, and educators!

Victoria Mirabito Community is a value that is very important in my life, especially in my classroom. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Saint Anselm College. I completed my Master’s Degree in Teacher Education and Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) at Merrimack College. As part of earning my Master’s, I completed a year-long fellowship in a Language Based Classroom at a school in Lynnfield, MA. When outside the classroom, I love spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors, listening to music, and going to Cape Cod.
