Dear Parents/Guardians, Unfortunately, we have seen a drastic increase in positive COVID cases at Windham Academy over the last week. Due to this excessive amount of positive COVID cases, other illnesses throughout the school, including a high number of flu cases and the stomach bug, combined with a high number of student and staff absences, Windham Academy will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, December 12th for a deep cleaning of the school. As of right now, school will reopen on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding so we can conduct this cleaning to hopefully alleviate a multi-day closure in the future. November 15, 2022 Dear Parents/Guardians, This afternoon, we were forced to call a "Stay in Place" order throughout the school due to a medical concern with a student. There was never any safety threat at our school. When we call a "Stay In Place" Order, students must return and remain in classrooms until it is lifted. Students and staff may continue regular classroom activity during the "Stay in Place" order. Once it was lifted, normal activity resumed throughout the school.
